The Associate Degree program in Applied Science prepares graduates to work in diverse roles in the Counseling and Human Service Industry. This program provides students with the skills and framework necessary to work with clients from diverse backgrounds. Students may work in faith-based organizations and nonprofit organizations. Students who enroll in the online associate in applied science with a specialization/major in counseling or human services learn the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in a range of growing entry-level professions. Depending on the specific career goals, the student may be required to complete a capstone project or get hands-on training in an educational setting. Graduation Requirement: A student must meet the following requirements to qualify for graduation from any program of study:

• Successfully complete all courses in the program of study with a cumulative grade point average of 2.0 or higher. • Meet or exceed the minimum standards of satisfactory academic progress (SAP); • Satisfy all programmatic requirements; and • Satisfy all financial obligations to the College
