This program is dedicated to equipping students with the essential skills and knowledge required for success in educational roles within non-secular environments. The curriculum addresses key areas such as development, effective communication, and community engagement, all tailored to the specific needs of non-secular educational institutions. By emphasizing ethical leadership and collaboration, the program prepares graduates to positively impact their communities and create an inclusive learning atmosphere in their classrooms.

This online course in childcare and education will allow you to earn your national Child Development Associate (CDA) certification and achieve your career goals as a teacher or child care professional.  Upon completion of the course, you will have earned the 120 hours of professional development required by the Council of Professional Recognition for CDA certification. This program is intended for those working in day care centers in religious schools or churches.

Schools need paraprofessionals! This course will prepare you for the ETS ParaPro Assessment exam, so you can work as a teacher's aide in a parochial school or church daycare. You'll learn how these paraprofessional educators assist with classroom instruction and build a foundation in educational principles like classroom management. Most importantly, you'll develop strategies to support students of different learning abilities in reading, writing, and math.

The demand for TEFL certified teachers is sky high. Earn your internationally recognized TEFL certificate in this online course, so you can teach English online, abroad or wherever the need arises. Once qualified, you will be able to confidently walk into a classroom and deliver a lesson to English language learners.

The Certificate in Life Enrichment and Engagement will provide opportunities to work seniors, children and other non-secular populations. Many students find positions in church activities, music departments or other faith based and non-profit organizations.

Pastoral Care and Parochial School Counseling

The Doctor of Education-Pastoral Care and Counseling program is for those who would like to practice Christian Counseling in pastoral ministry and parachurch organizations such as Christian schools. This program does not qualify a person to sit for state licensure or board exams.

All (Arts or Science Degrees-AA, AS, BA, BS, MA, MS) titles will include a religious modifier on the title line of the degree, on the transcript, and whenever the title of the degree appears in official school documents or publications.
